Seasonal Flowers for Spring

Seasonal Spring Wedding Flowers | A Fabulous Fete

It's no secret, I love flowers. I don't want to be a florist, but I definitely love having them around and giving the occasional arrangment a shot. Luckily, for the times I'd like a proffesional to take care of it, I have Naomi. Naomi creates everything you'll need for your wedding, as long as it's made of flowers and greens, over at Beautiful Savage Flowers. Naomi and I met in our boring little grey cubicles years ago and she is now my go to for shoots, parties, or buckets of flowers if I need them. We decided to collaborate and put together some useful AND fun guides for you... and since wedding season is heeeere, I thought we'd kick them off with a guide to spring flowers!

Seasonal Flower Arrangement Ideas | A Fabulous Fete

Naomi picked her favorite blooms that are readily available in the spring (ie. less $$$). I usually just pick whats at the grocery store, what jives color wise, and what won't put me into debt. But if you are working on your wedding or with a florist for an event, these are some gorgeous picks that you should be considering for your spring arrangements.

From left to right: Garden Rose, Maiden Hair Fern, Delphinium, Garden Rose, Peony, Anemone, Protea, Viburnum and the Sweet Pea.

These 3 are my absolute favorite, these were my original choices for our wedding, unfortunately the end of the anemone being in season was right before our big day in May. I only cried a little.
