Looking for a last minute DIY to spruce up your dinner table? Better yet, one you don’t even have to leave your house to gather supplies for? Good, because we have one.

I ALWAYS have extra little clippings from our tree, garland, or making a holiday flower arrangement. And I hate throwing them away because they’re so pretty and fragrant… they’re just too small to put in a vase. Rather than toss them, I wanted to turn them into something that could be a focal point of our holiday table. With just extra greens, a glue gun, and some wire, you can make these mini wreath place cards in minutes.

Materials and Instructions

You’ll need:

• small clippings of extra greenery, you can also add some florals, fresh or faux!

• glue gun

• cardstock if you’d like to add names

• wire (I used this but anything you have that you can bend will work)

Steps:

• I went with a quick 2 layers of wire. Make your first ring, then wrap your second layer around the first ring, twisting at the end to secure

• Cut 3 to 4 small green pieces and glue directly over where you wrapped your wire ends together. Top with sturdy florals if you’d like!

• Tuck your cardstock behind the wire and trim the sides. After you’ve added names, use your glue gun to secure the cardstock to the wire on the back side.

Not hosting any guests? You can add words instead (merry, joy, etc.) or just forget the name cards. The wreaths are pretty on their own and can elevate the most basic white dishes and linens!
