Celestial Manicure | 001

One thing that is usually a must before I entertain, go on a trip, or host a special event is getting a manicure. I will say that I have been slacking recently because there is just never. enough. time! But, one of my new year’s resolutions is to make the time for things that make me feel good. If we just work work work... what is it all for? We HAVE to take time to be with friends, pamper ourselves, or even have some rosé on Fridays with your team;)

So basically, I wanted to check all of those things off in one fun afternoon (self care, team bonding, ROSÉ!) before we split for New Year’s Eve weekend. I've been super inspired by celestial designs and elements lately, so I knew exactly what we would do for our NYE manicure; a simple star embellishment.

SUPPLIES

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Start with a generous clear top coat (you can do this on top of your nail color as well), do this one nail at a time so that it does not dry before you add your stars

  2. Use your small brush, lightly touch the tip of the brush in the clear polish (so that it is tacky), touch one of the star confetti pieces and place on your nail

  3. Use the back of your brush or finger to gently press the star into the clear top coat.

  4. Repeat on each nail and let dry

  5. Add a final top coat to seal your mani

I covered only my ring finger in several stars. On all of my other nails I used one star near the base of my nail. I wanted to keep it fairly simple AND these little guys weren't completely flat so I didn't want to worry about them snagging on anything.

We LOVE this idea obvi for NYE but it also works for a fun bridal shower activity or girls night in !
